# Manipulation

Below are the behaviors considered leaderboard manipulation. Any activity that artificially increases trophies, rank, or match outcomes may result in a reward adjustment.

#### **A. Repeated coordinated matchmaking**

This refers to playing an unusually high number of matches with the same opponent in a short period, especially when it creates predictable or favorable outcomes for one or both accounts.

Examples:\
• repeating matches against one linked player for fast trophy gain\
• using similar or identical squads repeatedly in coordinated matchups\
• intentionally selecting directions that guarantee outcomes between two accounts

#### **B. Multi-account advantages**

Using more than one account to influence rankings is not allowed. This includes:\
• playing your own alternate accounts\
• sharing accounts\
• coordinating matches between accounts you control or direct

#### **C. Referee-linked coordinated play**

Referee relationships are intended for onboarding, not boosting. The following behaviors fall under manipulation:\
• a referee and referee-linked account facing each other repeatedly\
• funding and controlling a referee-linked account\
• producing an unusual win or loss pattern between linked accounts

#### **D. Win trading or alternating victories**

Win trading is any intentional pattern where two accounts take turns winning or losing to each other for mutual benefit.

Examples:\
• alternating wins in Rush, Alpha Dome, or KOTH\
• one account consistently giving free wins to another\
• match outcomes that appear planned rather than competitive

#### **E. Squad mirroring for guaranteed results**

This occurs when two accounts use identical or near-identical squads and simply flip the direction to guarantee one of them wins regardless of market movement.

#### **F. Any intentional activity designed to farm trophies**

This includes any method where match outcomes, trophy gains, or ranks are not earned through organic gameplay.

If a behavior is not listed here but clearly matches the spirit of manipulation, CFL may treat it as such.
